Maharaja Duleep Singh (1838–1893) wears a green jāma (a long gown) heavily embroidered around the neckline. A yellow shawl is draped over his left arm and a yellow turban adorns his head. The turban is ornamented with a bejewelled sar-pesh consisting mostly of pearls. Around his neck is a pearl choker from which hangs a pendant containing a portrait of Queen Victoria.
